I’m sure many of you have heard about the new laws banning hazardous sunscreen. On the Big Island there is a law to preserve our coral reefs and marine life. Apparently, sunscreen will affect this delicate environment. I think this is a good law. And not only are we saving ourselves from harmful chemicals that are in sunscreen, (many I cannot even pronounce), but we are bringing more awareness to the effects of these harmful chemicals in sunscreens on the market today. We all know our skin is the largest organ on our body and it will absorb whatever we put on it. Topically these detrimental chemicals an go directly into our blood stream.

I cringe when I see people on the beach slathering themselves with sweet smelling toxin on their children’s skin.
So, you can imagine how delighted I was to meet Michael. He sells an all-natural sunscreen product called, “Little Hands.” It is another great find at the Waimea Farmer’s Market. Just another fine treasure you will come across on Saturday at Pukalani Stables, Parker Ranch (67-139 Pukilani Rd. Waimea). Michael created this wonderful product line that does not damage the coral reef and the marine life, plus it is great for your skin.
He was prompted to come up with this sunscreen when his daughter was a toddler. The ingredients he researched that are in the retail, commercial sunscreen shocked him. His quest for a healthier alternative eventually was rewarded. Through his passion for a healthy sunscreen; and for his desire to keep his family toxin-free in this sundrenched paradise eventually was rewarded. The FDA has approved his “Little Hands” sunscreen. I totally recommend you take care of your skin and one way to do this is to use this wonderful product Michael has created and now is eager to share with everyone.
Here are the yummy ingredients in Little Hands:
1 – Zinc Oxide(non-nano)
2-Unrefined Beeswax
3-Raw Shea Butter
4-Jojoba Oil
5-Vitamin E-Oil
6-Elderberry
7- Organic Frankincense, Essential Oil And it is SPF 40
Next time you are in a hurry to buy cheap sunscreen, just remember you have a choice, make it a healthy one.
We have one body in this life so let’s take good care of it and bring our awareness to everything we put in it and on it. One Life
